Reema Amin

Media and Design Chair @ Tufaan Entertainment

Reema, a sophomore, is one of the Media and Design chairs for Tufaan 2018. She studies sociology and global health at Northwestern. Besides Tufaan, she’s also involved in the South Asian Students Alliance and Project RISHI. She loves cooking, making different types of desserts from scratch, watching TV (especially Daughters of Destiny on Netflix!) and looking at photos of dogs – the group “Dogspotting” on Facebook has changed her life. Her favorite dance move is the sprinkler, and is excited to show Tufaan her moves at ~AFTERSHOCK~! Reema was able to volunteer at Shanti Bhavan during the summer of 2017, which was a life-changing experience for her – she loved teaching the children and getting to know them, and is grateful to be a part of Tufaan and continue contributing to a cause as impactful as Shanti Bhavan, as she saw first-hand how much of a difference it makes in the lives of the kids! The kids are intelligent, bold, and inspiring, and Shanti Bhavan opens up so many doorways and allows them to show their capabilities to the world!
